This post  contains all the results from Pre- Season with Turkish club Istanbul. The aim of this season is to finish higher than 9th (lasts seasons position) and possibly push for a Europa place. I believe with the transfers i did i could possibly achieve my target .

Here’s my pre-season results:

Pre Season

All these matches were won comfortably except against Spanish team Getafe in which i drew 1-1. I reckon i would of won that game but i decided to try out different tactics at half time which obviously didnt work. My team obviously  look like they can score goals scoring  an impressive 8 goals in one match- but these are only friendly matches. Now for Transfers!!

Transfers

Overall i am happy with my signings and believe i can finish in a respectable position at the end of the season. My budget was only 350k but i used monthly installments and this took my total spend to 3.4 Million.

Andrija Kaludjerovic was my first signing and i got him for a good price – 1.5 million & he’s only on 1.8k a week

With good finishing and composure i believe he will be in the starting line up with Pierro Webbo up front.

He is only 24 years old and should be a key player for this team for many years.

This is my second signing and i reckon he was a good one aswell!

Muslu Nalbantoglu will probably be in my starting 11, with good stats such as tackling 19, team work 17 and work rate 16 i believe he will be a valuable member of my defence. I purchased him for only 850k and he can play in either center defence or right defence which is his usual position

This is my 3rd signing and yes another defender!

There isnt much to say about Kemal Tokak except he has good tackling, marking and work rate for his age.

He isn’t the of best defenders but because in the Turkish League you must have no more than 6 Foreign players i had to purchase a Turkish Player and he was one of the best i could fine.

This is the last of my signings and he was a free player

Pinga has all the attributes that a midfielder would want inuclding stats like:  passing 17, Dribbling 17 Creativity 16!

I feel this player has one or two more years left in him until i decide to offload him but for now he’s in the team!

This club had a few players that wernt either good enough for the team or who didnt fit my tactics been played so i decided to cash them in but only managed to get 300k – better than nothing though!

Hello as you know my Dynamo Kyiv career got boring, i managed to get to January 2012 it was then which i felt it was right to start again…

So i did. This time – Unemployed.

My main target is to manage in as many different countries as possible while winning as much as possible

Once i started, i saw a variety of teams without a manager and decided to place an advert for Istanbul

I agreed on a 8k per week salary and the deal was done..

Istanbul  are a Turkish club, predicted 9th in the Turkish Premier League and are a relatively new team founded in 1990.

There best ever position in the top flight was back in the 2009/10 when they finished 6th but i think i can improve on this..

Even though they only gave me 350k for transfers i feel this team has alot of potiental and could push for a respectable position with the likes of Pierre Webbo up front i feel i can achieve this and possibly Europa
